That's odd. I'm using AirPort 1.3 with Entourage on my PB G4 and everything
works fine (with that extension installed) - I'm using a hardware base
station. Just FYI, Conflict Catcher reports the following on my two
systems:

Name: AirPort AP
Package: AirPort 1.3

Description: Provides Internet sharing support for AirPort Wireless
netowrking. Portions Copyright Sustainable Softworks Inc. 1996-2000.

Then it lists Apple's address and phone number with the note:

(description from AirPort AP).
