I used to run that way till I got DSL. Now, the online stuff loads fast
enough that I don't mind the occasional message with graphics. What I found
particularly annoying, when I had complex HTML disabled, was the iTools
newsletter. It consist ENTIRELY of graphics that have to be downloaded; no
text at all! (There is, however, a text version included; if you run the
Strip HTML script on it, the text magically appears.)
