All of a sudden, for the past few days, opening up my Address book (either via the Menu, or Command-2) takes about 7-8 seconds before it finally appears. This pause happens each and every time I access it. I rebuilt by holding down the Control key, but that didn't have any effect. I have 1250 names in my address book. I've been using Erage from its inception. I'm on a G4 450, 9.04, with a 896 RAM, and 40 assigned to Entourage. Never a problem until this week. Could there be some corruption? Has my Address book entered politics? Is there a way to uncorrupt it? I've never done a 'deep' rebuild. Would that help?
