Title: Rogue flashing icons

If one of the mail accounts in my “Send & Receive All” schedule is having intermittent problems (server down for a few hours, etc.), Entourage notifies me by flashing its icon in the menu bar. I already have icon flashing turned off for message notification, but is there any way to turn it off for mail connection errors?

The last thing I need is to see a flashing icon in the upper right corner of my screen for several hours. It’s very distracting. I either have to keep switching to Entourage to make it go away or else turn off any schedules that contain that mail account until the mail server in question comes back to life. Neither of these are particularly attractive workarounds. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Barring an excellent workaround that I haven’t discovered, I think it would be great to see this problem addressed in a future version of Entourage. A similar preference for mail connection error notification would be immensely helpful.
