Putting an alias to "Microsoft User Data" in my global Documents folder (one
that points to the MS User Data in my Office folder) solved the problem with
Entourage. Selecting the OS 9 system folder you suggest above also solved
the Entourage problem, but on my Mac, that setup causes Disk First Aid to
come up every time I boot into 9. I know I can turn that off, but I'm
concerned about the fact that DFA does find something that it fixes each
time it runs. Apple support is stumped, or at least the tech I got. My
current setup isn't ideal, but at least it works now. Thanks for your
advice. :-)
