My original message bounced, because I had started the subject with "Help." I'm afraid that probably made my follow up message totally incomprehensible, for which I apologize! ------ Forwarded Message From: Jan Martel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 07 May 2001 08:41:15 -0700 To: Entourage mac Talk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Help - I've lost all my calendar entries Last week I took my Powerbook on a trip and forgot the power cord. I managed to get through almost the entire trip on the battery, but at the very end, it ran out and the computer went to sleep "to conserve the contents of memory" almost instantly after telling me it was going to, so I didn't have the opportunity to turn it off. When I got home and plugged it in, the clock had reset to 1904 (I know there used to be a reserve battery to deal with that; don't know if that's still the case). I reset the clock and everything seemed to be all right. Then today I happened to notice that a calendar event I was pretty sure I had scheduled wasn't shown. That caused me to actually *look* at the calendar and I realized that *none* of my scheduled events were there. Not for this month, or next month, or the previous months. I tried a typical rebuild and didn't get any change. I could sync with the Palm and hopefully get most things back, but since I have a lot of multi-day events which get messed up when put on the Palm, that's not an ideal solution. I do have a back-up of my MS identity file from last month (I actually back it up every day, but toss the old back-ups at the same time, so the most current back up also doesn't have the calendar stuff) - is there any way to use that to get the calendar entries back but not lose mail and such that have come since I did that back up? Any other suggestion of where the calendar stuff has gone?
