Sometimes there are advantages to being inefficient :-). When I looked in
the MS identities folder I found the old database and database cache from a
rebuild I did last month. Put those into a new identity and all my calendar
events reappeared. So now I can get those back. But I'll lose contacts, etc
that I put in since that rebuild. That's better than losing all my calendar
entries, but I wondered if there was any way to have both? For instance, can
I export either contacts or calendar from one identity to another? Or???

Jan Martel, with no .sig files in this identity - I guess because I didn't
move the old mail database into the new identity. Do have email addresses
and folders, presumably because I said to use the settings from my regular
identity, but not sigs.
