I've seen the menu bar battery thing, but none of the others -- what happens
to your location manger settings? Actually, what's happening to IE and
Entourage. Entourage is location manager aware, so maybe it's troubles are
linked to your Location Manager troubles.
I have two locations in each system - both are named "Work" and "Home". I
haven't had switching between 9 and X make any changes to either of them at
all (PB G4).
I also have not had IE or Entourage have any troubles switching. The one
thing I did, however was I do NOT have IE sharing prefs between 9 and X - I
though Jimmy or someone from MS had said IE 5.1 and IE 5 could not share
bookmarks - but some people went ahead and did it anyway. I juts copied my
bookmarks file (so I have two).
Entourage uses the same database and prefs in both systems, though and it
works fine as well.
