I have the phone.  The cradle is serial, not USB, and I wasn’t able to get it to work at all with USB, even using Palm’s USB adapter.  Kyocera was entirely unhelpful when I wrote for support — referring me back to the FAQ I told them I had already read.  It worked perfectly with my older PowerBook (WallStreet) with a serial port, so I think the problem lies in the USB problems Palm had with 9.1.

However, I’ve had pretty good success getting the phone to sync on infrared to my TiBook.  Sometimes I have to reboot the ‘book before it will sync, but then it works.

I have not tried syncing to Entourage, but I can’t imagine that it would work any better or worse than any other Palm in that respect.

Does anyone one the list have a Kyocera QCP 6035 SmartPhone. I’m thinking about buying one and wanted to know if the cradle is USB, and does it sync good with Entourage?
