At first I was encouraged when I successfully synched Entourage with my
SmartPhone by having the computer overwrite the phone on the first synch.

Then the crashes started when I took the phone out of the USB cradle.

After some experimenting, here is what I found to work:

1. If synching does not work, do a SOFT (not hard) reset of the phone.
Instructions are in the manual.

2. By default, keep HotSynch disabled and HotSynch Manager closed.

3. Start HotSynch from the cradle.

4. Open the HotSynch Manager and enable HotSynch. For me, HotSynch then
commences.

5. After it is all over, once again disable HotSynch and quit it.

6. Contact Kyocera and be prepared to be frustrated. However, I did get a
sympathetic ear at Microsoft and I hope to do some more troubleshooting
under his guidance to see if we can corral the problem.
