Entourage under Edit -> Preferences -> Mail & News has a tab called
'proxies'.
Next to the mail proxy settings, you have the option between SOCKS and
Tunnel. I was successful with the 'tunnel' setting, but it depends on your
firewall. Bear in mind, that your firewall *STILL* needs to be set to allow
this circumvention, so this is not a sure-fire method.
