Paul, have you tried this yourself? My experience is like Brian's, that is:

I learned that although it is set up for Outlook Express, it uses
AppleScripts which can be simply edited to change the program name (or, for
one that is run-only, it prompts for the location of OE, and you just direct
it to Entourage, which uses the same scripting syntax for the basics).

However, as Brian writes, this results only in syncing messages from the
Inbox folder. And only into the standard Mail app, not into MultiMail. Like
Brian, I tried checking the box that says, "Use MultiMail 2.0 or higher,"
and when I do that, my sync will not run at all. Just spins its wheels and
quits.

I suspect there is some kind of timeout happening in the AppleScript, but I
fear that the one we would need to investigate is the one compiled as
run-only, so it cannot be viewed in Script Editor or Smile.

We need to bug the MM folks until they bring out an official Entourage
version. It should be a snap, since it is nearly identical to Outlook
Express.

Have you, or anyone, been able to get MM to sync with Entourage?

Is there any trick by which we can at least look at the code in the run-only
script? (Probably not.)

I just looked at the script OEMMGetMessages. It tries to read several files
such as "MMLimit" and "MMFolders"; these files <do not exist>!! I suspect
the conduit is supposed to write out these file (the limit file appears to
contain the number of days of mail to read; the folders file contains the
list of folders you want to sync, which is set in the MultiMail app on the
Palm, so I'm not sure how that gets transferred to the Mac for the script to
read it). The way the script is written, if an error is encountered in this
part of the code, it defaults to the standard Mail app. So that explains why
the latter is being used, and not MM. But it does not explain why the
requisite files are not present.

On or near 6/3/01 10:20 AM, Paul Berkowitz at [EMAIL PROTECTED] observed:
