No. But why do you want to do that? Those 17 m's will eventually be replaced
by more recent correspondents. I find it a great feature myself. It usually
takes only 3-4 characters of any name to narrow it down to the one I want,
which may well be one of those "other" correspondents whom I don't feel like
putting in my Address Book because I'm unlikely to need them much in the
distant future, but often need one "now". (You can ensure that Mike is the
first one in the list if you enter a Nickname for him - even "Mike" - in his
contact in the Address Book.) The next time you want to write someone back
who wrote you the previous week, you'll see what a good feature this is.

If you insist, you can do this one of two ways:

1) If there are just a few, enter them (with email address) in your address
book, save, then delete. You won't them appear.

2) If there are masses of them you want to get rid of, you can set the
category of every message in your Inbox (and other folders) to Junk by cmd-A
to select all and assign category, then do a complex rebuild (see the
ReadMe). But the process will only start over again.

I think you'll find that you usually don't need to do this if you give a
distinctive nickname to your most-used contacts (say "Mmm" for Mike: As soon
as you you type "mm" his name will be the only one. "Mmm" will NOT appear in
the email.) And you get the advantage of autofill for recent correspondents
that way. (They number 200, and are weighted for frequency and recent
messages - unused ones will eventually be replaced by more recent ones.)
