I glanced at the Schwartz book in the store, along with two other books
about Office 2001; I found that, from everything I could see, they didn't go
into much detail (even in hundreds of pages) and generally didn't tell me
anything I had not already learned by trial and error or on this list. I
checked for a couple of things that, if present, would have indicated to me
that the author had good knowledge of details, and was giving information
you could not find easily in Help...neither point was in any of the books.

The list has been my major source, and I recommend it to anyone. Although I
just learned the other day that if I selected the folder pane, I could type
the first letter or two of a folder and jump to it...I didn't know that! I
have not looked at the O'Reilly "Missing Manual" book about Office. I
suspect that might be a little more informative. But I decided not to bother
buying any of the others. Especially since I am making the move to OS X and
all of the OS 9.x stuff will be less than relevant.

What would be really interesting would be if someone wanted to take the
trouble to peruse all the past archive of Entourage messages and compile a
"Tips and Tricks" document. Of course it would have to include a section
dedicated to the scripts Paul and I have written!
