Allen,
I, too, have been successfully syncing with my Handspring under OSX and
Classic. Here is how I did it:
Booting in OS9 I installed the Palm software and did a sync to make sure it
worked under that (Serial Port Monitor in the Startup folder) I installed
this on the OS9 that resides in the same partition as OSX (the reason I
mention this is that I subsequently made a separate OS9 partition and I
cannot get a sync if Classic starts from that partition--same for my Canon
camera software--both work from the OSX/OS9 partition but refuse to work if
Classic is started from the stand-alone OS9 partition...)
Other than that it works like a champ.
