I disagree with this assessment Paul. I have seen the same thing. I often
type the word "don't" by typing the letters and the the apostrophe. It comes
out looking like this: don�t'
I don't know how that is going to come out. Right now, I see the d-o-n
followed by a curly-quote the 't' and a straight quote.
And I agree with Dan's basic request. If you are sending plain text only, it
should be straight quotes that are inserted.
