Prebinding is a whole bunch of Unix linking that can either be done in
advance, or on the fly.  Much faster to do it in advance -- this is what's
happening when an OS X installer says that it's "optimizing".  I'm guessing
that Xoptimize is a utility that does a more complete job of this than the
installers, but I've never run it myself.
