I currently have my Documents folder in OS X on another partition. IIRC you
can't replace the original's location with an alias and get it to work, but
symlinks work just dandy. You can also move the whole user folder to another
location, as long as you edit the NetInfo entry for that user and tell it
where to look for his/her home.
