If the message crashed your Mac, I doubt you even want to try opening it. Do
you have things set so that messages are deleted from your server
immediately upon download? If not, you could possibly look at it on the
server using IMAP. Or, download Mail Siphon and use that to look at the
message. If it is gone from the server, I don't think there is any way you
can look at it. If the rebuild is deleting it, it is hopelessly corrupt in
your database.
