No, if it's missing it will be recreated. If it's corrupted, then removing
it from the Office subfolder of Microsoft office 2001 folder should
re-create a fresh clean version when you start up Entourage. So this would
be worth trying: trash the IE 5 Control for Office and start up Entourage
again, and try to view a complex HTML message. this file will only be in the
Office subfolder if you've installed SR 1 (that's when MS moved it).  Also
give Entourage more memory than the default - you need about 15-20 MB RAM.

But it's not impossible that it's some other file that's corrupt. So if this
doesn't work, you could try what Allen suggested in the first place. You
could remove the entire Microsoft folder from preferences, but save your
Custom Dictionary from it to put back into the new folder that's created
there when you open an Office app. You'll also have to reset a number of
your preferences. (In Entourage, if you've renamed your Main Identity, you
will probably end up in a new empty main identity. Just go to File -->
Switch Identities and get back to your correct one, and delete the new one.)
