Thanks for the hint. I have been plagued with the dreaded slow down ever
since upgrading to OS 9.2.1. Not just Entourage, but in all applications.
I was beginning to think that I had a PC, having to reboot 2-3 times per
day.
I had started to look for a common cause when I saw your thought below.
Since I have disabled sleep (I still sleep the monitor and spin down the
hard drive during inactivity), I have had no slow downs at all.
Hope somebody from Apple is listening!! Oops, wrong list. But I guess it
cannot hurt to spread the word. Don't let your Mac with OS v9.2.1 go to
sleep and you should be rid of the slow down problem.
