Exactly that was my concern when I wrote my request. Looks like parsing Notes auto forwarded messages with an AppleScript is "undoable", at least can't be done reliable. Maybe I'll give Notes Web mail a try (I can't have both, policy at our site is either forwarder or Web mail), and see if I can live with it.
