Today I received a "Forwarded" message from a friend. I was asked to forward it to another friend.
When you don't select any text in the original message, "Forwarding" is supposed to forward the entire content of the original message. However, when I forwarded this message, only the text added by the sender was included in the forwarded message. For example, considering the following fictional example: =============== Hey, Dan. Can you forward this to Jim? I don't have his email address Thanks! Note: forwarded message attached. ---------- From: Yahoo! Maps <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Fri, 12 Oct 2001 09:51:56 PDT To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Yahoo! Maps and Driving Directions Someone ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) has sent you a Yahoo! Map etc.... =============== If I select all, then forward, it all gets forwarded. However, if I don't select anything, instead of forwarding everything, only the section up to the "Note: forwarded messages attached." gets included. The entire "forwarded" message gets clipped off. To me, this seems counterintuitive, and counter to the way Entourage usually behaves when forwarding.
