I’ve just had a thought...

Would it be possible to set up some accounts that did not have the necessary for collecting mail but could send it.

So if you chose one of these to send from if would have the appropriate from address in it, but would have a specific signature as set up in Account options. However when you do a Send and Receive all it is not checked because you haven't set it up as a Send and Receive account...

I’ve just tested this and it works!

It just means that you have to remember to send from a particular account...
