Hi to all; I'm attempting to use Entourage as my email program, as I have heard and read many good reviews on it. However, Entourage seems to have a problem sending largish attachments.
I have abortively sent both .ged and .jpg attachments in the last two days. Both times I got a message stating that the message was unable to be sent due to an error -3155 (or words to that effect....) Both messages with attachments were successfully sent via Netscape, so the problem isn't with the attachments, but with Entourage. I did send a 270K .jpg successfully though. The .jpg that didn't go through was about 710k and the stuffed gedcom was just under 800k. I've checked the mail preferences and have chosen AppleDouble (any computer) as the encoding choice. Compression is None. Compatibility and Efficiency - first box uncheck, send attachments to bc and cc is checked. I can't see what else may need to be changed in order for attachments to go through properly. Any further suggestions? Ibook; Mac OS 10.1, 9.2.1; 384 meg ram; Entourage 2001 (part of Word/Entourage Special Edition, not full Office 2001) TIA Brenda -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
