Your settings are fine; that isn't the problem. Like Deb has said, I've sent
multimegabyte attachments with no problem.

The only thing I can think to suggest is booting from your 9.2.1 system and,
while there, adjusting the memory, giving Entourage about 16000K or more.
Then, try running it while booted under 9.2.1. If that works, switch back to
X and try again.
