Datebk4, however, does.
It has previously been reported on one of my mailing lists that Datebk4 actually uses the standard Calendar database, and specifically stated that this database does actually have a field for category which is synchronized, although not displayed by the standard Palm application. Granted, this is off a mailing list, which are not the most accurate sources of information... > > Also, I don't think the Entourage conduit will <create> any categories on > the Palm for any type of data. This is true for categories created in Entourage; however my question was a bit different than that. If the category is created on the Palm in one application/database, than applied to another that does not have that category, what will Entourage do? Remember that categories in Palm applications are separate from one another (with a limit of fifteen categories per application). As Entourage deals with several different Palm applications, it is possible to have up to 45 or so categories in Entourage created on the Palm. However, Entourage does seem to merge categories in separate applications with the same name into a single category within Entourage (most of the time - it is not always successful at this as the many reports of duplicate categories indicate). -- Eric Hildum -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
