Well, Judi, the arrival of your message was heralded by the first notification sound I'd heard in several days. Wha-? I thought. Then I read your message and recalled that just moments ago, I quit Classic to see if it would have an effect on my suddenly twitching cursor. The twitching, as it turned out, was cured by new batteries in my cordless mouse, but Classic is still off.
I will now start it up again and see if sounds have fled again. More shortly... -Bill > From: Judi Sohn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Thu, 27 Dec 2001 13:24:49 -0500 > To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: ENTOURAGE -Ent X Alert Sounds Vanished > > On 12/27/01 9:39 AM, "Bill Cameron" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> I know my volume is up, LOUD, and sounds work in other settings.
