I don't know if this is something that's supposed to happen, or if it's OSX or EvX that's causing it, but... Sometimes when I'm writing an email I want to refer to a Word document. I do that by going to Word and putting the document someplace where it won't be hidden by the message window, then going to EvX and writing and sending the email. At that point, I have the main EvX window "live" but the Word document is still sort of in front of it, hiding some of it. I have to click on the Word window and then again on the EvX window to get the E window totally in front. Interestingly, I played with this while writing this email, and if I minimize the EvX window before writing the email and then go to the dock to get it, it comes back in front of the Word window. Also, if I still have the email window open and click on the main window, it comes completely to the front. The only time I have a problem is if I set things up so the main window is in the background, the email window is in the foreground and the Word window is in between, and then close or send the email. After doing that, if I click on the main window, the Word window stays in front of it (but sort of transparent).
If I've managed to describe this behavior properly :-), is it a bug or something that's supposed to happen, and is it an OSX thing or an EvX thing? -- Jan Martel in Davis, CA Ibook; System 10.1.2, 9.2.2 -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
