Some days ago, I've reported a problem that I've lost the contents of my Inbox when I upgraded from Entourage 2001 to Entourage X. Now I know what has happened, and I'd like to describe this because I think it is a bug:
When I imported my E2001 (German) data into the EX Test Drive (US English), the contents of my Inbox folder (named "Posteingang" in E2001) were not converted into the EX folder "Inbox", but a new folder "Posteingang" was created. The same was true for the other special folders for Deleted Items, Sent Items, Drafts and Outbox. In my opinion, these special folders should be treated correctly, i.e. the mails in these folders should be converted into the corresponding special folders of EX. In the meantime, I've upgraded from the US English EX Test Drive to the German regular EX. The special folders are still named in English, which is not a problem for me. Today I've noticed by accident that in my long list of folders there are also the converted special folders mentioned above.
