Another alternative would be: Chronos probably has some kind of ability to
export contacts to a tab-delimited text file. If so, do that.

Now, you need to know what order of fields Entourage is expecting when it
imports a tab-delimited text file. To find out, EXPORT the contacts from
Entourage (on the File menu), and then examine the file with a text editor
like BBEdit (the Lite version is free) to see what order the fields are in.
(Or see the convenient list I append below!) You must export <all> contacts,
but it is fast. (Incidentally, this makes a good way of producing a backup
of just your contacts every now and then.)

Then, import the text file into a spreadsheet program such as Excel or
AppleWorks. There, you can shuffle the fields (columns) around to get them
into the order you want, and even delete columns, combine some, etc. You may
have to add some empty columns to supply empty values for fields that exist
in Erage but not in Chronos. Write the resulting "spreadsheet" back out as
tab-delimited text.

Finally, import the resulting file into Entourage. The program does not give
you any option to select or arrange fields as you import; you have to have
the fields arranged in the proper order! And if any contacts you are
importing already exist in your database, they will be duplicated.

To save you a little trouble, here are the 69 fields of Entourage contacts,
in export order:
