Whenever I click a URL in an email in Entourage, the Browser that the URL is handed off to is IE. This happens even if I have iCab selected in my internet preferences. Why is this, and what do I have to do to get iCab to be my preferred browser. I have got to the stage where I am fed up with IE’s slowness, tendency to choke when I have more than one or two windows open, and proneness to crashing. But am I stuck with it when clicking on URL’s in Entourage?
Another approach might be to drag URLs to iCab’s icon in the Dock – unfortunately this doesn’t work, presumably because iCab doesn’t recognise the character of the dragged clipping? It works fine with URL files dragged from the Finder, or with URLs dragged out of Entourage to the Finder, and then dragged to the Dock icon.
