This is one I would also like. I have just had to deal with the situation of
planning a week's worth of meetings in Japan while in the US. I carefully
added the entire schedule to my calendar, with reminders, only to discover
when I arrived in Japan, all the meetings were schedule to US time, so all
of my reminders are 19 hours late. In fact, just as I typed the previous
sentence, the reminder to meet our company's CEO just popped up...

I'm am not entirely certain what the best fix is:

1. All calendar events to be in local time as per OS 7 type operation.
2. An option to specify time zones when displaying or creating events, which
would add an extra field to dialogs and displays... (this may be the most
flexible and useful)
3. An option to specify using local time for all events
4. An option to specify using local time on event by event basis.
5. Prohibit powerbook owners from traveling across time zone boundaries.
(Might have to ban inter time zone telephone calls as well.)
6. Require that everyone use UTC.
