The problem is with his own Date & Time control panel (or Windows OS
equivalent) on his own computer.

You could display the Received column rather than the Sent column in your
folder (go to View menu/Columns) and that way you'll see messages in true
order that you received them. The "Sent" will still be wrong, as will any
attribution line in a reply to him. But he can't really complain , can he?
It's his doing.
