Three bugs/issues: I just notice that the "Title" field in the "Create Contact" dialog box is actually the Suffix field, and pops up choices such as M.D. And Ph.D. This occurs when Entourage is registered as a Japanese application (and the create contact dialog is the Japanese dialog box with fields for yumi). In Entourage 2001, the title box was used for honorific suffixes such as san, sama, etc.
A second issue is that the Japanese contact format does not allow me to enter a country. I need the country field so that when I send letters to Japan from the US, the address is the full international address (i.e., says Japan so the US Post Office can get it to Japan in the first place). The third problem is incorrect handling of special postal codes for buildings. For example, 141-8641 is actually Tokyo-to Shinagawa-ku Higashi Gotanda 3-20-14, not Tokyo-to Shinagawa-ku Ooseki which is what the postal code lookup gave me (Ooseki is 141-0032). Normally, applications in Japan will recognize the special postal codes, and pop-up the various options so that the correct choice can be made. That is, a selection containing all possible 141 code areas is displayed. -- Eric Hildum -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
