I am in a new task window, click on “Due Date” or “Reminder,” then click on the little calendar icon to the right to have it show a calendar for me to select the date. When I click on the little calendar icon, it very briefly shows the calendar, then the calendar disappears and I need to click on the calendar icon again. I know this is a small inconvenience, but it would be nice if I didn’t always have to do this extra step. Any ideas?
The calendar should only disappear if you actually select a date. In which case you don't need to open it again. Are you saying is disappears spontaneously before you've had a chance to select a Due date?
Or do you mean you're annoyed you have to click on the other calendar icon to set Reminder? How exactly would Entourage know you'd picked your Due Date, if not by clicking? And if you've picked it, why stay open?
Am I missing something?
If you don't like disappearing calendars, you can just type the date in, in short format if you wish
(i.e. 1/11/02). When you click elsewhere, your typed date gets converted to a "real" abbreviated date.
