Are these simple tasks or repeating tasks? I don’t have this problem, but I do see that repeating tasks show up in the incomplete because the next occurrence is not complete.
Just a thought. Anything else about your tasks that might shed some light on it?
I assume you have incomplete tasks selected under your view menu.

Yes, as indicated in my original message, I have selected “incomplete tasks” in view menu.
These are not repeating tasks.
One perplexing feature of this bug (which might shed some light on it) is that, as stated in the original email, I click on “View” and “Incomplete tasks” once again (just to make sure), and the computer then displays all tasks (of all task categories, not the one category I selected in custom View), though finally just the incomplete ones. Strange that it would switch from my selected custom view to then show me all categories of tasks, although the one particular category folder is highlighted at the left side of the computer screen.
That’s all the information I can think of to add.
