Cmd-F still works to bring up the find dialog, but it was thought better to
retain the previous find rather than replace it with the selection.

Here, there & everywhere. Try looking in the help files for keyboard
shortcuts.

Cmd-F for Find,
Cmd-G for find aGain,
Shift-Cmd-G for find next occurrence

It sort of makes sense.
