If you type <http://www.apple.com/> it should open from any computer and for
any person with the exception of AOL users. AOL needs something different. I
can't remember what you need to add for AOL users to get a link to work.

IF you leave off the opening and closing <> it should still work in most
cases.

If you leave of the http:// bit then you're bound to run into trouble.
