I know PC viruses (we'll except Word and Excel macros, here) can't infect my
Mac, however ... there were some PC viruses that could affect early versions
of Outlook and since Outlook and Entourage are very similar ...

I've been getting reports of multiple e-mail viruses that appear to have
been sent through two of my e-mail accounts. One is a remailer account, so
at first I suspected it had been hijacked by someone (in fact, when I
changed the password, things calmed down for a couple of weeks). Then I got
some reports from people about my core account.

I've logged reports of at least four different viruses (not related). And
seen three of those viruses sent from the remailing account to my core
account (but stopped by a virus checker before they could be delivered).

I've done multiple scans of my PowerBook and the G3 I use at the office and
have found no infections of any sort (using the most recent virus defs and
Norton AntiVirus 6.0.2). In addition, Norton is set to scan ANY file
transferred to the desktop (which is where all downloads are put to be
scanned before anything is done with them).

Anyone got a clue what might be going on here? I DO use Virtual PC, but the
e-mail program in VPC is not configured, so it shouldn't be an issue. I
generally only use VPC for small projects at home (so it's never connected
to the office T1).

The most recent virus identified in an e-mail from one of my accounts was
W32.Klez.E@mm.

Suggestions? Comments? Ideas? I'm stumped.

Anyone have any experience with anything like this?
