Does this happen all the time or only occasionally? There’s a known display bug in Entourage 2001 which causes the occasional word that’s already been added to the dictionary (which is why the “add” button is grayed out) to display with the red squiggles anyway. I see from View: Source that you’re in Ent X, however, and I thought this bug had been eradicated there. I could be wrong.
