The schedule “Empty Deleted Items Folder” is set to run on quit. When I quit and then relaunch Entourage, the folder is not empty. Neither does running the schedule manually. If I select all in the folder and then click the trash icon, the messages are deleted. This behavior persists after a database rebuild?
Is this a bug? A “feature” that I need to turn off?
It's a known bug that the Schedule only partially empties the Deleted Items folder. Run it 4 or 5 times manually to finish the job. We've been told that this bug will be fixed in the forthcoming Service Release.
