Hmmm... This would work too. Thanks. The only thing is, I avoid using the "Empty Deleted Items Folder on Quit" (in the IMAP Advanced tab) because, with OS X and my PowerBook (which is almost never shut down), I almost never quit Entourage! So nothing ever gets deleted.
