Sorry John, what you're describing sounds like it should be possible, but
I'm not sure I fully understand it...
1. If you receive a message from somebody, you want to add the sender to
your address book with a script.
That's easy enough, the script can get the sender and create a new
contact with his/her name & address. So far so good,
2. You then want to set the category of the contact in the address book?
Set it to what? You imply the category of the message - is that so?
Where does the message get it';s category from? Are you assigning the
message a category from a rule? If the message already has a category it's
simple enough to copy this category (or categories) over to the contact when
you create it. Is that what you want?
