Entourage 2001 does this and it's a nice feature. If you're viewing a particular folder when you quit, you'll be viewing it immediately after you start up again. But it doesn't scroll the Folder List window if the one you've seleted is above the bottom of the window.
Entourage X scrolls the list way down, often further than is manually possible to scroll. Of course, there would be more room to show the folders in the list if I could remove the appearance of those giant buttons above.
