After creating the list, I just pasted it directly from the clipboard into a blank worksheet, so maybe I avoided the import problem. I ran it on 24 folders with 300-1200 messages each and all went well. I�m still curious as to why the first recipient display name did not have the leading quote or quotes and only had trailing quotes when there were two of them. Some intelligence must be stripping them, but only for the first entry in the recipList. Thanks to both you and Barry for the suggestions on handling the RE and FW issue.
