No, binhex encoding is .hqx. .bin is just an all-purpose signal of some sort to Windows that it's a binary file. I don't know if it's an error of the Mac file system or what. Is it not read properly at the other end? If not, turn off "Add Windows extension" when you send one out. AppleScripts also get the .bin extension when sent as attachments, by the way. > > I've tried setting the encoding for Apple Double, Base 64, and UU, (no > compression) but the extension in the attachment window still says ".bin" > > Also, is there any way to control what goes into a vCard No. > > When I open a vCard as text, all that seems to be there is the name and > address. It's pretty limited what it includes, but it should contain email address, work and home street addresses and a few phone numbers, pus a few other things. By no means all of Entourages fields - far from it. > > Gordon Sell > > -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
