I thought this would work, but unless I'm missing something, it doesn't seem like it will. I have a list of contacts in a category. Some of them are flagged, some aren't. I wanted to print a list with names, phone numbers and emails, both for the flagged subset and the whole category. I thought a custom view would work. So I created two custom views, one all, one flagged. Chose the columns I wanted. Everything is perfect on the screen. But I want to print it, and I can't figure out how to. When I do "print" it offers to print as a phone list or as an address book list - that's not what I want, I want a list that looks just like what's on the screen! I'd even be willing to export the contacts on the list and import them into Word and print there, although it seems like a stupid waste of time, but I can't find out how to export just the contacts in the custom view. I even went to Word to see if I could use the data merge there, but when you try to import from the address book, you can't limit by category. What am I missing? I can't believe that it isn't possible to print a list of contacts formatted as I want it. I did try Help, which didn't (help, that is). -- Jan Martel in Davis, CA iBook; System 10.1.3, 9.2.2
