I'm wondering what Live Sync is for. When I saw it in the options, I had
hoped that it would allow my mac.com account to behave like my old corporate
Exchange Server account had, that is, new e-mail would just automatically
show up in my inbox. I liked that, I thought it was cool, I didn't have
schedules. But after setting up Live Sync and leaving for a couple hours, I
showed no new messages--a manual check revealed I did have a dozen or so
waiting on the server. My current settings are:
Live Sync (stay connected to the server)
Only connect to Inbox
Connect immediately on launch
Check for unread messages in subscribed folders
