All at once Entourage vX has started asking me for the password for my email
account. It never did this before. I can't even think of anything I've done
today that ought to affect E'rage. I subscribed to a MS News Server
newsgroup, but why would that make E'rage want my password. Every time the
dialog asking for my password pops up it includes a checkbox for "save
Password in OSX Keychain. Each time I dutifully check that. But it doesn't
seem to be saving it.

Wait, there is one thing I did; I don't think that should have caused a
problem but ... When I first installed Office X, I put the folder at the
root level on my computer, instead of putting it inside Applications. Today,
as I was looking for something in the folder, it occurred to me that it
really belonged in Applications, so I moved it. Could that be the problem?
Should I move it back? Just in case this had something to do with it, I
tried quitting E'rage and starting it again (BTW, unlike the OS9 Launcher,
the Dock didn't have any problem finding Entourage even though I'd moved the
Office X folder). It asked again for my password, but this time when I went
and looked at the OS keychain, it was there. So hopefully I've solved this
problem, although I still dont understand it. Thanks for letting me work it
through here :-).
